Patient Information

Welcome

Welcome to Oral Surgery Associates of South Texas. We’re honored that you’ve taken the first step toward improving your oral health. At our practice, your comfort, confidence, and smile are always our top priorities.

This website serves as a helpful resource to guide you through your treatment journey. Here, you’ll find information about our services, understand your care options, and get answers to questions you may have about oral surgery and periodontal therapy.

Our team of specialists—Dr. Bryan Gulley, Dr. Jesus Gomez, and Dr. Geisy Galviz—are highly trained in oral surgery and periodontics. Together, they provide advanced surgical and non-surgical treatments for gum disease, perform cosmetic procedures to enhance your smile, and offer dental implants to replace one or multiple missing teeth.

We know that visiting a doctor or dentist can cause anxiety for many patients, which is why we strive to make every visit as comfortable, relaxed, and positive as possible. Patient comfort and quality care go hand in hand at our practice.

Our doctors also respect your freedom to choose your dental care provider. While we work closely with referring dentists, a referral is not required to visit our office (unless specified by your insurance). We’re equally grateful for referrals from our patients, their families, and friends.

We take pride in our caring, dedicated staff who ensure that every aspect of your surgical and administrative experience runs smoothly and efficiently.

Our goal is simple—to help you achieve and maintain excellent oral health in a welcoming, compassionate environment. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a consultation, please contact our office at 361‑992‑3873.

What Is A Periodontist?

A periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease and in the placement and maintenance of dental implants. Periodontists are experts in the treatment of all forms of periodontal disease, including gingivitis, periodontitis, and gingival recession.
The American Dental Association recognizes periodontics as one of the nine specialties of dentistry. Periodontists receive extensive training, including three years of additional education beyond dental school.
By choosing a specialist you will benefit from the latest procedures for treating periodontal disease and placing dental implants tailored to your needs. In addition, our doctors can perform cosmetic periodontal procedures to help you achieve the smile you desire.
